Program of PSC Moroccan Presidency at Center of Meeting at AU





Addis Ababa - The program of the Moroccan presidency of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC) was at the center of a meeting between President of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat and President of the said Council Mohammed Arrouchi. At this coordination meeting, the president of the AU Commission and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the AU and UNECA,

Ambassador Mohammed Arrouchi, President of the PSC for the month of September, also discussed the next meeting scheduled in this month on the interaction between the Peace and Security Council and the African Union Commission. During this meeting, the president of the AU Commission praised the role and momentum triggered within the Union by Morocco under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Arrouchi told MAP. Since Morocco's return to the African Union, the Kingdom, which has been elected as member of the AU Peace and Security Council for a two-year term, is chairing the same Council for the first time.
