Morocco's Economy Grew by 2.4% in Q3

Casablanca - Morocco's economy grew by 2.4% in the third quarter of 2019 compared with 2.5% in the previous quarter, the High Commission for Planning (HCP) said. This performance is due to the decline of the growth rate of non-agricultural activities, which fell from 3.3% a year ago to 3.1%, the HCP pointed out in its quarterly note on the Kingdom's economic situation.

The agriculture value added also declined, for the third quarter in a row, by 2.6%, the source added. Tertiary activities grew by 2.8% against 2.9% in the second quarter, it said.
