Moroccan Yassine Bensaleh and Ayat Allah Elanouar Win 5th Morocco Swim Trek

Dakhla - Moroccan Mohamed Yassine Bensaleh and Ayat Allah Elanouar won on Saturday the fifth edition of "Morocco Swim Trek", which was held in the southern city of Dakhla. Mohamed Yassine Bensaleh (FUS) came first ahead of Yasser Benchebba (FUS) and French Collet Thibaud.

In the ladies' category, Ayat Allah Elanouar won the competition, while Nada Jalal (WAC) and Italian Erika Crocco ranked second and third, respectively. A total of 129 swimmers from 15 countries took part in the event.

The Morocco Swim Trek "Sahara Edition" is an international open-water swimming event for amateurs and professional swimmers. The event consists of 6 days immersion in the desert, between ocean and dunes of sand, with 4 heats of swimming, each one different.

This year, this roving race totalized a distance of 30 kilometers.
